Dear 3K,

I hope you gave yesterday’s camp note to an adult at home.  It has a lot of very important information on it that you need to know about camp.  I will go through it with you sometime today.

The orders for both the concert DVD and photos close tomorrow.

Don’t forget to bring along any cardboard boxes that you might be able to use to create your display for the Expo.

Remember that your homework is due by 8.45 tomorrow morning.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin

I hope you are getting everything that you need for camp organised.  I will go through the list with you today.

Some of Mrs. Joyce’s children will be coming into our classroom this morning to share their work on biographies with you.

I would suggest that you go to the computer lab at lunchtime today to get your homework done if you don’t have access to a computer or the internet at home.

You can start bringing cardboard boxes to school that could be used to make your display for the Expo.

Have a great day,

Dear 3K,

I hope you had a good day with Mrs. Lovell yesterday.

We will be going on camp next Wednesday.  It is starting to get close now.  I hope you have begun to pack for the camp.  I have.

Just a reminder that those children who were given a medical form need to return it, along with the medication, tomorrow.

It would be a good idea to go to Mrs. Joyce’s at lunch time today to do your homework as she will be able to help you if you get stuck with it.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin

Monday 27th October, 2014

Dear 3K,

I am away sick today and Mrs. Lovell will be taking you for the day.

In Reading and Viewing you will be talking about the Author’s Message / Big Idea from ‘The Lorax’ and you will be given an opportunity to finish recording your thoughts about the characters, setting and plot.

You will be using the I-Pads to find out more information about the person you have chosen to write a biography on.

Today will be your last opportunity to choose gifts from the Target catalogue for your ten people.

Mrs. Lovell will give you some time to choose the piece of artwork that you would like entered into this year’s Traralgon Art Show.

In your Inquiry lesson you will be looking at some information about what homes can do to conserve water.  This week’s homework also looks at ways in which we can make the most of the rainwater that can be collected.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin

Dear 3K,

Some children from Mrs. Joyce’s grade will be coming into our classroom this morning to share their biographies with us.  We will be spending some time today looking at published biographies to see what needs to be included in a biography.  We will then use the I-pads to research some information about the person we have chosen to write our biography about.

You will be having another session with your new Maths Group after recess.

Don’t forget that the medical forms and medication need to be at school next Wednesday.

Book Club is due on Monday.
