Don’t forget to bring along any cans for ‘Give a Damn, Give a Can’.  Thank you to those children who have already brought some in.

Have a great day,

Tuesday 26th April, 2016

Dear 3 / 4 K,

I hope you enjoyed your long weekend.  Yesterday was a public holiday as it was ANZAC Day, which is when we think about all the people who have served for their country in past wars.  This week’s homework is about ANZAC Day and we will be discussing it later on today.

You will be having Art the hour before lunch as you normally do on a Tuesday.

Have a great day,

Homework – Term 2 Week 3

ANZAC Day

Your homework for this week is to write down at least 3 things that you have noticed in regards to the commemoration of ANZAC Day on Monday.  It could be something that you saw on the TV, something that you read in the paper or something that you saw happening in Traralgon or wherever you were on ANZAC Day.

Friday 22nd April, 2016

Dear 3 / 4 K,

I am still unwell so I wont be in at school today.  I have left some work for the CRT to do with you today.

A lot of it focusses on ANZAC Day, which is on Monday.  It is a Public Holiday so there is no school for students or teachers on this day.  There will be a lot about ANZAC Day on the TV and newspapers over the weekend.

Our School Captains are also going to lay a wreath at one of the many services which will be held across the country on Monday.  They will be representing LRPS at the one in Traralgon.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin

It is great to see so many children getting their homework done nice and early in the week.  Homework is due by 8.45 am tomorrow.

ANZAC Day badges are being sold at school, though there are no $1 or $2 ones left.

Don’t forget about the Give a Damn, Give a Can appeal.  Thank you to those children who have already brought in some cans.

We will be having Maths Rotations after recess today as normal.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin

Wednesday 20th April, 2016

Dear 3 / 4 K,

Today in the Computer Lab you will be doing your Spelling On-Demand Test.  I will talk more about this later.

Today is the day that you can go to Mrs. Joyce’s room at lunchtime and do your homework.  Well done to the children who have already completed it.  It is due 8.45 am on Friday morning.

It is great to see children looking for their overdue Library books.  If you have yours at school, you can take it to Library with you this morning.  If you cannot find the book you will need to pay for it.

ANZAC Day badges are being sold this week.  They range from $1 to $5.

Have a great day,

From Mr. Kilmartin
