Today is the last day of school for the year.  We will be finishing at 1.00 pm this afternoon.

Dear 2K,

You will be meeting your new grade for next year today.  This will happen just before recess.  You will have P.E. with Mr. Barbour at 9.45 am for half an hour before that.

A teacher will take you after recess for a specialist session.  They may also take you somewhere else for a special event that is happening at our school at that time.  The class party will be held after the specialist session.

Dear 2K,

Our class party is tomorrow.  Please bring a plate of food to share.  You can also dress up in Christmas Colours (red, green, white, gold or silver).

We will be going to the 3 / 4 Expo at some stage in the hour before lunch today.  Their topic is also Water so I am sure that you will be able to have a good discussion with them.

Monday 17th December, 2018

Dear 2K,

We will be having our Expo after recess where you will be sharing your poster and your persuasive piece of writing with the other 2 grades from the Junior Unit.  I will give some time this morning to those children who haven’t finished either piece of work to finish them.

Those children who are going to the Readers Emporium tomorrow need to make sure they bring their form and voucher back to school.

You will begin taking some of your books home today.  It might be a good idea to bring a shopping bag similar to the one you brought for swimming to school so that you can put the books in.

Don’t forget that you need to bring a plate of food to school on Wednesday for our class party.

You have got ICT the hour before lunch and Art the hour after lunch as usual today.

Today is our last day of swimming.  We will be going at our usual time.

We will be having Unit Assembly at some stage after lunch today.

If you received a form off Mr. Price about going to the Readers Emporium next Tuesday don’t forget to bring it and the voucher back to school.

We will be going swimming at 9.00 this morning.  We will be back halfway during recess.

You will be having a specialist session before lunch and also one after lunch.  I am not sure which teachers will be taking you, so you will find out when they come to get you.

The whole school will be having a transition session after lunch today.  This means you will spend some time with the other children that will be in next year’s 3 / 4 Unit.  It will be held in the hall.

You have got ICT straight after recess today followed by P.E.

Just a reminder that we will be leaving for swimming at 9.00 tomorrow morning so please make sure that you are at school on time tomorrow.
