A special visitor is coming to the Book Fair tonight!  You can get a photo taken with him. Tomorrow is the last day of Book Fair so if you haven’t bought a book yet you can do it either today or tomorrow.

Dear 2K,

Tomorrow is NAIDOC Day.  You can wear the colours of the Aboriginal flag which are red, black and yellow or you can wear the colours of the Torres Strait Islanders flag which is blue, green, white and black.  You do not need to bring any money.

You will be having Mrs. Fenech for ICT today.

Dear 2K,

The Market Fresh people are coming to our school today.  We will be going to see them at 12.15 pm.  It will be held in the BER building.

Those children who have read at least 3 times this week will be getting their Reading Reward today.  They will participate in this rather exciting reward around 10.30 am.

It is also Free Play for those children who have earned it.  Free Play will be rather different this term.  I will explain later what will be happening.

Mrs. Maguire will be coming in this morning to watch and help with our Writing lesson.  The focus of the lesson will be on using interesting words to describe a setting.

You will be having Science with Mr. Barbour after recess.

We would like all money and forms for the Market Fresh visit in to the office by today.

Dear 2K,

I will be giving a sticker from Stretch to those children who bring back their sheet with the phone number of the phone they would use at home in an emergency.  I hope you got an adult to fill out the other form and place it somewhere you can get to quickly in case of an emergency.

The Fresh Market people will be visiting us on Friday.  We would like everybody to go so please bring back your form and $2.00.

Liz and Stretch from Ambulance Victoria will be visiting our classroom this morning.  They will be coming at 9.45 am.

We will be having our first Reading Reward session today for those children who have earned it.
