Today is Planning Day for the Junior Unit teachers.  You will be having ICT, Art. P.E. and Science today.  Mr. Barbour will be taking you until recess.

Tomorrow is the Colour Run so don’t forget to wear your white T-shirt.

Dear 2K,

I am having a Professional Practice Day today and Mrs. McDonald will be taking you for the day.

I hope lots of you read last night.  It would be great if we could get a new record for the Reading Reward this Friday.

The Colour Run is on this Friday.  You don’t have to wear your school uniform on this day.  If you would like to do the Colour Run you will need to make sure that you are wearing a white T-shirt.  You can wear shorts, jeans or tracksuit pants with the white T-shirt.

I hope lots of you read last night.  We will be having Reading Buddies after lunch today so tonight will be another great opportunity to read at home.  Don’t forget that 3 children will be awarded a Reading Award this Friday with a book voucher from Readers Emporium.

Friday 26th October, 2018

Dear 2K,

Today is ‘Day for Daniel’.  We will continue with our learning about this very important program today.

We will be going to the Computer Lab at 9.45 am.  I will explain later what you will be typing up.

We have got Junior Unit Assembly after lunch today.  There is some rather exciting news about another type of reading reward that will be shared with you at the assembly.

Tomorrow is ‘Day for Daniel’.  We would like you to wear something red tomorrow.  We will be starting some work today about ‘Day for Daniel’.

We could get a new record number of children who will receive the Reading Reward tomorrow.

Natalie from Gippsland Water is coming to speak to the Junior Unit today.  She will speak to one grade at a time.  Our time is the hour before recess and it will be held in Mrs. Lewellin’s room.  She will talk about the water cycle and also water efficiency.
