Today is the last day of term.  We will be having our End of Term Assembly at 1.00 pm in the hall and you will be dismissed at 1.30 pm.  If you have brought your lunch I will give you time to eat it before the assembly.

Wednesday 20th September, 2017

Dear 3 / 4 K,

Today is our Concert day.  You will be getting changed into your Concert costumes first thing this morning.  Girls will be getting changed in Mrs. Lewellin’s classroom and boys will be getting changed in our classroom.

We will be having a Full Dress Rehearsal before recess.  The Matinee performance begins after recess.  You will get changed back into your school clothes after the Matinee.

You are not expected at school until 6.30 pm for tonight’s performance.  Once again, the girls will be getting changed in Mrs. Lewellin’s classroom and the boys will be getting changed in our classroom.

It expected that you will show your very best behaviour right throughout today and tonight.

Dear 3 / 4 K,

We will be having a Dress Rehearsal of the concert in the hall today.  We will go through the concert once before recess and then we will do it all again after recess.  This will give you an idea of how it will all work on Wednesday.

As this is going to be quite a busy week I am not going to give you any homework this week.

Mrs. Joyce will be videoing your Inquiry Speech in the second hour this morning.  I will work with each group in the first hour.  If you are not working with myself or Miss Boyes you will be able to work on the next page of your Inquiry Notebook.

Curriculum Rotations will be the hour before lunch today.  You will be having Mrs. Joyce for Global Goals.

Your concert costumes of pyjamas and slippers are due at school today.

You will have ICT after recess followed by Art with Mrs. MacDonald.  You have also got Maths Rotations the hour before recess.  It is going to be a busy day so I am expecting that you will show a positive Growth Mindset.

Monday 11th September, 2017

Dear 3 / 4 K,

We will be going to the Traralgon Secondary College this morning.  We will be catching the bus at 11.45 am and will be back at school at lunch time.  I’m sure you will really enjoy whichever activity you do.

We will be visiting the Life Ed Van tomorrow.  Our session runs from 8.45 am till 10.45 am so please be on time tomorrow morning.

Miss Hughes is on Long Service Leave for the next 2 weeks and is being replaced by Mrs. MacDonald who will be working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Friday.  This has meant that the Specialist Timetable needs to be changed.  For the next 2 weeks you will be having

• P.E. on Wednesday at your normal time of 8.45 am
• ICT on Thursday straight after recess
• Art on Thursday straight after ICT
